False Gospels
▶PAUL says, in Gal 1:6-9, “I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a DIFFERENT GOSPEL; which is really NOT ANOTHER; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to DISTORT the Gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel CONTRARY TO WHAT WE HAVE PREACHED TO YOU, he is to be ACCURSED! As we have said before, so I say AGAIN now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel CONTRARY to what you RECEIVED, he is to be ACCURSED!” (caps added)

MANY OF THESE MOVEMENTS, or “DIFFERENT GOSPELS,” are connected while often overlapping to one degree or another.
They are ALL WIDE, DECEITFUL paths! BEWARE!!! ▶JESUS says, in Mt 7:13-14, “Enter through the NARROW gate (JESUS); for the gate is WIDE (self) and the way is BROAD (self) that leads to DESTRUCTION (HELL/DEATH), and there are MANY (%wise) who enter through it. For the gate is SMALL (Faith in CHRIST alone) and the WAY (JESUS/Jn 14:6) is NARROW (The GOSPEL’S TERMS) that leads to LIFE (HEAVEN/JESUS), and there are FEW (%wise) who find it.” (caps & parenthesis added)
Theses “DIFFERENT GOSPELS” lead their followers to self-works righteousness & self-centered living, which is foremost IDOLATRY! Idolaters who do NOT REPENT WITH A GODLY SORROW that leads to SALVATION (2 Cor 7:10), will be CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE by The Just and Holy Judge!
▶ Rev 21:8 says, “But for the COWARDLY (lukewarm/half-hearted Christians) and UNBELIEVING (unrepentant & stubborn-hearted) and ABOMINABLE (all the rebellious and sexually immoral, including partakers in pre-marital sex, homosexuality, adultery, etc, EVEN LUSTING FOR SUCH, IN THE HEART, as JESUS said) and MURDERERS (NOT ONLY killing another for vengeance, but even HATING, or being JEALOUS of, another, IN THE HEART, as JESUS said) and IMMORAL PERSONS {ALL PEOPLE who have NOT REPENTED, with GODLY SORROW (2 Cor 7: 10), TURNING TO THE TRUE GOSPEL, which is Jesus Christ & OBEYING His commands (Mk 1:15, Lk 9:23-26; Jn 14:15; Jn 16:8; Acts 17:30-31)} & SORCERERS (those who practice magic, the occult, metaphysics, channeling/necromancy, mysticism, witchcraft/divination) & IDOLATERS & ALL LIARS, THEIR PART will be in the lake that BURNS with fire and brimstone, which is the second death (ETERNAL HELL).” (caps & parenthesis added)
Another WARNING, from ▶ PAUL, in Gal 5:19-24, “Now the deeds of the flesh (SELF) are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I FOREWARN you, just as I have FOREWARNED you, that those who practice such things will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God.” (caps & parenthesis added)
BEWARE!!! These “DIFFERENT GOSPELS” are DECEIVING & MISLEADING “MANY” on the “WIDE PATH” to “DESTRUCTION”/HELL! ▶ JESUS says, in Mt 24:11, “MANY FALSE PROPHETS will arise and will MISLEAD MANY.” And in Mt 24:24-25, JESUS again WARNS, “For FALSE CHRISTS and FALSE PROPHETS will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to MISLEAD, if possible, even THE ELECT. Behold, I have told you in ADVANCE.” (caps added)
The deceiving of false teachers is not only effective on people who want to have their “ears tickled,” but it can gain a serious foothold on the sheep, too! Misleading undiscerning members of the flock into the foggy fields of false gospels can dupe the sheep into cluelessness about growing in the true knowledge of God by His Word. False teaching cannot snatch those who are in Christ away from Him (Jn 10:28-30), but it can most certainly impact the sheep from being fruitful and pleasing to the Lord in all respects (Col 1:10). Yikes!!
False teachers are very articulate, nice, friendly, happy, outgoing, funny, entertaining, charismatic people, often bursting with ‘personality plus,’ who are in leadership positions as pastors, elders, teachers. Thus, JESUS describes them as being in SHEEP’S CLOTHING, a shepherd’s garment, in the Church, but will be condemned for the DECEPTION they bring INTO THE FLOCK! False teachers cannot be IDENTIFIED simply by how NICE & FRIENDLY they act. Rather, it is by focusing on WHAT THEY ARE TEACHING! You will know they are teaching falsely if they are teaching “ANOTHER JESUS” AND A “DIFFERENT GOSPEL” (2 Cor 11:4)! Do they have the real Jesus? Do they have the real Gospel? This is what to look for! Firstly, we must test and examine ourselves, as Paul admonishes in 2 Cor 13:5, to see if we are in the faith. ”Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you– unless indeed you fail the test?” One must have the real Jesus and the real Gospel, by God’s grace, Holy Spirit and Word, before one can discern/judge if a leader in the Church does or not.
PAUL worked to WARN the flock, “DAY AND NIGHT, WITH TEARS” (Acts 20:26-31) & to EXPOSE THEIR DEEDS OF DARKNESS (Eph 5:11)!!! ▶ PAUL says, in 2 Cor 11: 12-15, “But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may CUT OFF the opportunity from those who DESIRE an opportunity TO BE REGARDED JUST AS WE ARE in the things of which they boast. For such are FALSE APOSTLES, DECEITFUL WORKERS, TRANSFORMING themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself TRANSFORMS himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if HIS MINISTERS also TRANFSORM themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” (caps added)
JESUS, PAUL, PETER, JOHN & JUDE ALL WARNED NOT TO BE DECEIVED by FALSE TEACHERS/TEACHINGS! If you are following any of these “DIFFERENT GOSPELS,” which are “CONTRARY” to God’s Word/The True Gospel (Lk 9:23-26; Mk 1:15, Jn 14:15, Jn 16:8, Acts 17:30-31), BEWARE, YOU ARE BEING DECEIVED!
Those who are truly found in Christ, having been given a LOVE FOR THE TRUTH, His flock, will be SAVED from FALSE TEACHING, in the Church, by God’s Sovereign Grace and Word. NO ONE can snatch His sheep from His hand (Jn 10: 27-29)! PTL!!! \0/
However, there are others, apostates/false converts, who will REMAIN in FALSE TEACHING. ▶ PAUL says, in 2 Tim 4:3-4, “For the time will come when they will NOT endure SOUND DOCTRINE; but WANTING to have their ears tickled, they will ACCUMULATE for themselves teachers in accordance to their OWN DESIRES, and will TURN AWAY their ears from the TRUTH and will TURN ASIDE to MYTHS.” (caps added)
Those who do not LOVE God and His Truth, will be judged and condemned to destruction! ▶ PAUL says this in 1 Cor 16:22 and 2 Thes 2:10-12, “and with all the DECEPTION of wickedness for those who PERISH, because they did NOT RECEIVE the LOVE OF THE TRUTH so as to be SAVED. For THIS REASON God will send upon them a DELUDING INFLUENCE so that they will believe what is FALSE, in order that they all may be JUDGED who DID NOT BELIEVE the TRUTH, but took PLEASURE in WICKEDNESS.” (caps added)
▶ BE LIKE A GOOD BEREAN (Acts 17:11) & TEST EVERYTHING (1 Thes 5:21)!!! ▶ JESUS says, in Mt 24:4, “See to it that NO ONE MISLEADS you.” (caps added)
END NOTE: There may not be books, regarding the following false teachings, necessarily, in this library, except for those due to ecumenicalism, especially in regard to Catholicism, the largest promoter of mysticism and works-righteous salvation in Christendom. There are many books like that in Christian bookstores under the guise of the Emergent Church, for example. (UPDATE: 03:31:12) There is an increase of books found in Christian bookstores that promote evangelicals to “go back to Rome,” Catholicism; to abandon the recovery made by the reformation.
Typically, books written and titled for these particular FALSE RELIGIONS are not found in mainstream Christian bookstores. They are, but not limited to:
